Introducing a new Alumni benefit!

The state-of-the-art fitness center on the Dobbs Ferry Campus will now be available for Mercy College Alumni to join at a low introductory rate of $100 per year.

Hudson Hall Fitness Center

The 5,000 square-foot Mercy College Fitness Center, located in Hudson Hall, is equipped with top-of-the-line fitness equipment and offers access to all members of the campus community. Since its completion in January 2016, the Fitness Center holds a wealth of options for the recreational exerciser. Included in the facility are full locker rooms with shower and toilet facilities for gym users, a variety of cardio equipment, and an assortment of Life Fitness weight training machines. Multiple pairs of free weights ranging from 5 to 100 pounds are available with adjustable and fixed benches.

Monday - Thursday: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where is the Fitness Center located?

Why do I have to pay a membership fee to use the Fitness Center?

The Fitness Center is a non-profit facility, run primarily from the income derived from membership fees.

I have an idea for the Fitness Center. Who do I talk to?

We are always looking for new ideas and suggestions. If you have a suggestion, feel free to leave a comment with our front desk or e-mail us at jtom@mercy.edu.

So I have a membership, but I have no idea what I am doing.

We understand that this is the first time that many of you have used a fitness center. Please look over the policies to learn about some general information. The Fitness Center staff is available to answer general questions and provide basic instruction on equipment use.

I want a refund. What should I do?

Membership fees are NOT refundable, pro-rated, or transferable. If a medical condition severely limited your ability to perform physical activity for a significant amount of time, and you have a doctor’s note, you may request a refund.

Where do I park?

Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. When you pull into the Dobbs Ferry Campus, let the security guard at the booth know that you are an alum and that you are here to use the Fitness Center. They will ask to see your membership card and will then give you a guest parking pass for the day.
